Based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire in the UK, the studio is run by head engineer Hunter Barr who has over 20 years of experience in studio recording and music technology. While primarily based at our main studio, where we can offer a full range of services and can cater for a vast array of genres, clients and budgets, we also offer mobile recording services to record your live shows, rehearsals or location recording elsewhere. In addition to professional recording and mixing services, we also offer mastering for CD, online media and vinyl along with high quality audio restoration facilities.We have top quality gear and excellent ears to ensure you get the best results possible.

Recording, Mixing and Mastering artists since 1989 and founder of Retina II Studio in 1997.
For recording and mixing we will deliver experienced, friendly and professional advice. With a wide range of microphones and hardware we can record a six piece band onto multiple tracks even on location recordings. For mastering we can improve the clarity, definition and depth of your recording using equalisation, compression, limiting dithering plus reduction (or even removal) of hiss, hum, crackles, clicks and pops. We use professional grade tools including spectral editing to allow high quality audio restoration. All of this will be delivered in your choice of digital formats from CD Red Book and DDP to Hi-resolution digital files specifically tailored for use with Bandcamp, iTunes + or any other medium you choose.
